Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has been named after the most distinguished, extraordinary and Divinely Gracious Spiritual Masters of this age, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.
In the history of great enlightened Saints of India, some great Masters were honored with the title 'Jagadguru'. Such Saints taught devotion to the personal form of God and revealed the practical path of Divine unity. The knowledge a Jagadguru reveals is considered of such great importance that it is respected as a source of spiritual upliftment for all of the souls of the world.

Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, or Shree Maharajji as he is affectionately called by his devotees, received the titles of 'Jagadguru' and 'Bhakti-yog-rasavatar' in 1957 from a convention of India's most learned scriptural scholars. 'Jagadguru' means he is the supreme Spiritual Master for this age, and 'Bhakti-yog-rasavatar' means he is the descension of Radha Krishn love.
All of Shree Maharajji's extraordinary life has been a Divine charity. His Divine association has delighted and devotionally inspired millions of souls. He has re-established, elucidated, simplified and magnified the devotional aspect of bhakti yoga through his numerous writings and teachings, and glorified the path of loving remembrance to God through his devotional programs.
To extend his Gracious benevolence upon those souls living in the western world, he manifested his special Grace in the form of Barsana Dham, which was founded and established by his foremost disciple, His Divinity
